-Family Proclamation to the World
This means that we are all children of god so we all have divine qualities.
Some of the words in 2 Peter 1 are:
Servant, apostle, righteousness, knowledge, godliness, diligence, virtue, temperance, patience, kindness, charity.
These are all divine qualities that we should show.
23 And now I would that ye should be Humble, and be submissive and gentle; easy to be entreated; full of patience and long-suffering; being temperate in all things; being diligent in keeping the commandments of God at all times; asking for whatsoever things ye stand in need, both spiritual and temporal; always returning thanks unto God for whatsoever things ye do receive.
-Alma 7:23-24
45 Let thy Bowles also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the Presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distill upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.
-D&C 121:45We can develop these qualities one by one. We can serve well and keep the commandments to develop these Divine qualities.
